We should be set to close this Thursday, June 13th. There's been a few extra hoops through which to jump, but they've been navigated. We ended up having to split the transaction into 2 sales, one for the house and 10 acres for the mortgage and the other for the remaining 30 acres.
We're planning on hauling some stuff with us to begin the next phase...making it a suitable habitat. I've got a 330' roll of fencing, 40 t-posts and a driver to put up a temporary yard fence so we don't have to kennel Buckwheat the WonderDog so much. We'll also bring whatever we can fit into a 6X12 UHaul (a couple of bedrooms and some kitchen stuff) to get us started on making it a place to stay.
This is probably a boring update since I'm not adding any new pictures, but we'll throw some in after we close and can spend more time out there.
